One of the most well-preserved ancient Roman buildings, the 2,000+ year-old Pantheon is a testament to adaptability and flowing with the changes of the times. Originally built by the Romans as a pagan temple to “all the gods” (hence, Pan-theon), and still very much looking like one, it has, nonetheless, been an actively functioning Catholic church since the year 609 AD. In this shot, I aimed to capture the Pantheon’s timelessness and resilience, giving off the feeling that it very much plans to stand for several millenia more.
